    Dragon Marble Contraption

Progress shots and final submission of a challenge animation from Clinton Jones! Really fun challenge. Using the whole 3D Pipeline is super fun and dealing with simulated physics always keeps you on your toes :D My good friend and talented artist, Manny Tavares, gave some awesome help with the shape design and silhouette of the dragon! It was announced that my submission was in the top 100 renders! I had a great time and appreciate Clint giving 3D artists from all over this o

    Cool Worm Render

A fun prompt-based project provided by my university's Media Club. The open-ended prompt was 🐛😎🍹. I chose to use Cycles engine for rendering due to how I wanted the lighting to fall on the subject. As well as diffusing through the glass shade for the table light! #Blender #Cycles

    Snake Sculpture to Model

A good friend of mine asked me if I could replicate an art piece made by his love interest for 3d printing and renders. I had a great time recreating this wonderful sculpture in Blender! I decided to combine the speckled material into a single node graph to get a very natural transition between the glaze. In the end it was a very simple PBR graph! #Blender #Cycles #Sculpt #MaterialNodes

    Crystalized

My first ever modelling project where the intent is to have the result be a cohesive, story-telling render! I had an ALIEN-esque idea where crystals slowly ate away at the metal of a spacestation. I had also wanted to do a render with a person in frame but that wasn't really in my skillset just yet. I really enjoy how this turned out. Along the way SO much was learned about the Cycles engine, general rendering, general modeling, procedural textures and how to effectively mode

    Dragon Sculpt

First ever sculpt with Blender instead of Sculptris! I'm really surprised with Blenders versatility and ability to render complex procedural shaders. This sculpt has a few flaws and I'm still learning the best way to do things... Overall I'm happy with how it came out! The materials were procedurally generated and masked using vertex colors! #Blender #Cycles #Sculpt #ProceduralMaterial
