    A curious Si'lahn named Fi'lrehiin (right) inspects a brightly colored Hal'puno specimen (left). The Si'lahn race come from the arid and rocky regions and have a natural interest in the world they live on. Uncovering new knowledge brings a Si'lahn a satisfaction that's only barely palpable to the average Human.     End of a Voyage

    A long, dark sail through a starry river. Glimpses of sights ever older, drifting aloft. Frictionless void, echoless chamber. Until collision, suspicion and interception. The long voyage has ended. A very spur-of-the-moment painting. A flash of this vision popped into my head and I did my best to capture the same feeling's I experienced. A hopeful sense of awe.     A demoing of a specialized fog-of-war game. This was my team's original idea for our Game Development 2 Capstone project. However the scope was sadly too large for the short amount of development time.     My roommate and good friend began to explore an interesting artstyle for a Software Engineering project of his. I've been exploring palette-based coloring and shading and have come to love it! The material graph uses a simple diffuse shadow to shift the UV coordinate lower into the palette gradient. This allows for a controlled cell shading across all models in a scene.     Animation Course Final

    For our animation course final my team and I sought to create something mildly interesting while demonstrating procedurally made models in Maya (MEL). We used Blender for the final render (Eevee Engine) but had a great time exploring what could be done in both programs. The music/ambience was made by me to give the animation a more '2001 A Space Odyssey' feel. #Blender #Eevee

    Hills

    This render was pretty spontaneous. As I was helping a friend with blender techniques for making stones and rocks, I had accidentally made a hill scene. I then built upon it more and more until it came to be a very nice desktop wallpaper. I also have began to animate this piece and hope to post it on the steam workshop for Wallpaper Engine. #Blender #Eevee
